RETURNS

 

All sales are final.

In order to keep our prices low and save you money, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please contact us before ordering if you have questions about our products; we want you to understand exactly what you are buying and how to use it.  Be sure to double check your order (especially colors and quantities) before submitting. Of course, if a product is defective or we make an error with your order we will gladly offer a refund or exchange. Thank you for understanding.

SHIPPING
 
There is a minimum order of $10.
 
All items ship from Beijing, CHINA. Please note that China is approx 13 hours ahead of North American east coast times.
 
We strive to ship all packages within three business days of receipt of payment, unless an item is out of stock or you are notified otherwise. Packages usually ship on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays via China Post. Small packages (under 2 kg) are always sent as registered mail, and may have to be signed for upon delivery. 
 
We do not ship during major Chinese holidays (Chinese New Year, May 1st, Oct 1st).  Shipping delays due to holiday closings will be noted on the store home page.
 
 
FREE SHIPPING OPTIONS & COUPONS
 
Only one coupon per order.
 
FREE SHIPPING and COUPON FREE SHIPPING is always via economy, which averages 2 to 6 weeks for delivery. Deliveries are generally faster in the summer (1 to 3 weeks) and can be slower in the winter months.  Packages to EUROPE during winter season occasionally see delays up to 7 or 8 weeks for delivery.
 
Note on free shipping:  If your order contains BOTH free shipping items AND items that are not eligible for free shipping you may still see the option of air shipping at checkout.  If you choose expedited shipping, your free shipping items will ship separately via economy.  The items for which you paid for upgraded shipping will ship via expedite.  If you select economy then your entire order will ship together.
 
 
US & Canada Orders: Free shipping is enabled through the shopping cart for select items in the store.  Eligible items are marked with the "eligible for free shipping" icon throughout the store.  Shipping is free for those items on orders over US$39 total.  If your order contains items that are not eligible for free shipping you will be charged shipping for those items only at checkout.

Customers in ZONE A: Packages to USA, Australia, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, England, France, Guam, Holland, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Korea, Puerto Rico, Russia,  Saudi Arabia, Singapore,  Spain, Taiwan, Ukraine, can choose ECONOMY (economy packages average 2 to 6 weeks for delivery) or EXPEDITED (expedite packages average 1 to 3 weeks for delivery).   In most cases economy and expedited packages to US, CAN, AUS  and JPN arrive in about the same time (~2+ weeks), so we generally do not recommend upgrading shipping to these countries. There are no additional handling fees.
 
Customers in ZONE B: Packages to Belgium,  Bosnia & Herzogowina, Croatia, Iceland, India, Germany, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Slovakia, Switzerland can choose AIR (1 to 6 weeks). This is the only method of shipping available to these countries due to postal regulations in China.  There are no additional handling fees.
 
Other locations:  If your location is not listed above, please contact us and we'll add your location to one of our shipping zones.
 
  
FORWARDING ADDRESSES AND PHONE NUMBERS
 
These are required in case of delivery problems, but only apply to packages over 2 kg.  We'd rather have your package sent to a friend, neighbor or relative than all the way back to us!
 
 
PACKAGE TRACKING
 
Package numbers will be noted in your order after the order has been processed.  You can access these by logging into your account and clicking on your order. 
 
Packages weighing less than 2 kg are shipped registered mail. However, most countries do not allow online tracking while registered mail items are in transit. One exception is Canada, which scans these in at every stop. Generally, your package will only be trackable if your local postal system allows tracking of incoming international registered mail before delivery. Information is generally available online once your package has been signed for or delivery has been attempted.
 
Larger packages (over 2 kg - such as those containing a snap press) are sent with a postal reference number that is sometimes  trackable online while in transit.   Different countries choose to scan these at different intervals; some are only scanned in at delivery.
 
All packages are trackable online in the China Post system to show the date they cleared China Customs and exited the country.  Please contact us if you would like this information. 
 
CUSTOMS DUTY AND TAXES
 
Customs duty and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. We are not responsible if you fail to pay duty owed or fail to claim your package from your local customs office. That said, we find that few of our customers pay duty or taxes, and when these are levied (usually by European countries) they are generally very reasonable.  Please contact your local customs office for more information.
 
 
RETURNED PACKAGES
 
Ocassionally packages are returned to us because of an incorrect address, or because a package notice was left and package was not claimed within 30 days.  Be aware that delivery notices are sometimes lost, and contact us if your air package has not arrived within 25 days, or your airlift package has not arrived within 40 days.  It's possible that your package is waiting at your local PO for you to claim.
 
If the package is returned because you failed to respond to a delivery notice we'll ask you to cover shipping costs before shipping it a second time.
 
 
INSURANCE
 
Insurance is included on all purchases.
